In 2009, I walked into a Lululemon for my first yoga class (Tiffany Cruikshank). I was hooked! It was the first time I felt a deep connection to myself. For the next five years, I dove in headfirst to practicing and learning all I could. I started with power vinyasa but pushed my body too far and sustained a neck injury that took me down for a little while. The fantastic thing about my yoga practice was the revolutionary idea that I needed to learn how to listen to my body. By listening and backing off, I realized that I could find balance and strength that supported my body rather than stressing it.
