Description
I was introduced to yoga in 2002 by a newly certified friend who needed practice students. Over the next several years I ventured in and out of the practice as well as different styles until I found her "home" in Vinyasa and Ashtanga traditions. I took my first abbreviated teacher training and teacher's assisting program in 2011 at Shakti Vinyasa. In 2012 I completed her 200 Hour with Be Luminous with a primary focus in Power Vinyasa, Vinyasa, and Slow Flow. I have spent the 3 years studying with Tiffany Cruickshank and Yoga Medicine, a school that is an adjunct to eastern and western medicine with a yogic component. In August, 2018 I completed her 500 hour advanced studies and added yin, restorative, myofascial release, therapeutics, internal medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine, orthopedics, and cadaver dissection studies to my training experiences. I am also registered as a Therapeutic Specialist.
