Wayanad is situated in the lap of Western Ghats, where time stands still, immersed in velvet hills and valleys, mist clad mountains, mysterious caves and jungle trails; and historical ruins and excavation reveal the rich cultural heritages of Wayanad. Carving in the Edakkal caves even date back to the Neolithic civilization.
