Vayu Mudra is the hand gesture that symbolizes the element of air (Vayu). It is used to balance the air element within the body. This mudra is said to help in reducing excess air and wind-related disorders, such as gas, bloating, and anxiety.
Steps:
Sit comfortably in a relaxed position, with your spine straight.
Place your hands on your knees, palms facing upward.
To perform the mudra, bend your index finger so that the tip of the index finger touches the base of your thumb (the thumb presses gently against the index finger).
Keep the other fingers straight or gently curled in a relaxed position.
Hold this position for 15–30 minutes, or longer if comfortable.

It is best practiced in a seated posture during meditation or pranayama practices.
