The Yoga School NY

The Yoga School NY is an Educational Initiative located in New York City. We are offering Holistic Traditional and Therapeutic Yoga Teachings in the Lineage of T. Krishnamacharya, the ‘Grandfather of Modern Yoga,' such as Yoga Teacher Trainings, Group Classes, One-on-One Therapeutic Sessions and Workshops. Our teachings are informed by our direct and continuous studies in this tradition with TKV Desikachar, son of Krishnamacharya and founder of the Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram (KYM.org) in Chennai, South India, and other long term teachers in this tradition, such as Sonia Nelson, director of the Vedic Chant Center in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
