Description
Long time resident of the Divide with a 21-year professional life in social work in a mixture of settings; currently providing Educationally Related Mental Health Services to students at Black Oak Mine Unified in addition to teaching and managing the yoga studio. Jennifer found yoga in 2001 through home video practice and fell deeply in love with the instructions and practice. Experiencing a deep connection with Eastern teachings and how complementary it was to her Western education, she decided to share her passion by opening The Healing Shala. Her mission: to provide a space for all persons seeking support for their life's journey that is open, creative, compassionate, and ultimately healing through individual and group sessions.
