So, I was introduced to meditation at the age of ten. My father told me to sit in my room in the dark with my eyes closed. When I asked why, he answered "because it's good for you." So I sat there with one eye open hoping I was doing it right. I witnessed my Grandmother meditate and chant at the Buddhist Temple countless times, so I just copied her. Over the years, I realized on my own terms he was right and my lifelong love for holistic wellness bloomed. With the launch of On Demand cable, I was able to practice yoga with daily guidance at the age of 15; shout out to Wai Lana.
