Shanti Yoga Shala

In 2007 Larry Mangel commenced his Ayurvedic training with Ed Zadlo D.Ay (Acharya Premananda). In 2008 he had the fortunate opportunity to travel to Rishekesh, India with Ed Zadlo to study with Dr. David Frawley (Pandit Vamadeva Shastri), renowned author and founder of American Institute of Vedic Studies and Shambhavi Chopra . Larry completed a 200 hour Vinyasa training at Shanti Yoga Shala and a 500 hour Ashtanga Apprenticeship with Greg Nardi (Ashtanga Yoga Worldwide) . In July of 2012 he began Dr. Frawley’s Classical Ayurveda Study to become a Certified Ayurvedic Counselor under the tutelage of Ed Zadlo D.Ay completing this training in October 2013. He studied with Dr. Vasant Lad at the Ananda Ashram in July 2013, 2014, 2015, 2017, and 2018 and has interned with Balarama Chandra Das. In Dec 2015, Larry attended the 5th International Ayurvedic Conference at Vaidyagrama Ayurveda Healing Village, Coimbatore, India.
