I discovered yoga at the age of 20 when I stumbled into a class that was advertised at my local gym as a “new” fitness format, the same month I began my lifelong civilian career as an aerospace engineer supporting the military. From that day forward I was hooked on yoga. Over the next 20 years, I practiced several forms of yoga including Hatha and Anusara and in 2008, while stationed overseas, I trained in Australia as an yoga, tai chi and Pilates instructor. I found my passion in teaching and while I continued to grow my own practice, I also trained in other fitness formats including weightlifting and resistance training and in 2014
