The S m yoga research institute is a non-profit making organisation founded in the year 1982 Shri Swami Dhirendra Brhamachari ji Maharaj (Great Yogi from India ) And Achrya Dharmnath Shastri ji Maharaj (Disciple of Shri Swami Dhirendra Brhamachari ji Maharaj ) for the research and re-establishment of ancient Indian cultural science of yoga and the mission – to spread peace, health and joy through yoga and its spirituality for well being and holistic healthy living, which is getting disappeared in the hectic modern living.
The Sri Sankat Mochan Yoga Research Institute aims at health not just only physical but mental and spiritual as well. S m yoga research institute is the only Government certified Yoga Institute in Vrindavan. The Yoga Institute is located at the famous Parikrama (pilgrimage) Road, near the holy river Yamuna, next to many other ashrams and temples.
