The foundation stone for Ramamani Iyengar Memorial Yoga Institute was laid by our Guruji, Yogacharya B. K. S. Iyengar, and his wife Ramamani in 1973. Sadly, Smt. Ramamani passed away before the construction could be completed. When the Institute was opened in 1975, Guruji dedicated it to her memory
