Wide-Legged Forward Bend Pose
Prasarita Padahastasana is a standing forward bend with the legs spread wide apart. The practitioner bends forward from the hips, placing the hands (or palms) under the feet, encouraging a deep stretch in the hamstrings, calves, and spine. It is calming and grounding, often practiced as a preparatory or transitional pose in standing sequences.
