Description
I have been practicing yoga for 14 years and completed my first 200-hour teacher training in 2012. I felt a strong pull to understand anatomy in relationship to yoga, so I completed a second 200-hour training with Yoga Medicine. I have an RYT-200 and am currently studying with Yoga Medicine to gain my 500-hour certification. Some of my specialized practices include Yoga for Women's Health & Fertility, Yin & Meditation, and Yoga for Mental Health & Wellness. You can learn more about my certifications here.
I believe yoga can benefit people on a physical, spiritual, mental, and emotional level. While I am trained in a vinyasa teaching style and love a dynamic class, I equally value a slow pace that allows individuals to have the reflective space to tune in with themselves. The practices I teach have a strong foundation in anatomy and alignment and aim to enable those taking my class to gain a greater awareness of themselves on and off their yoga mats.
