Dr. Satya Yoga

Most individuals are shaped by past happenings, but there are some who shape their personality all by themselves. I am one such individual. I live in the present and carry no baggage from my past. Therefore, to know me, you have to know me in my present. For me the past does not exist; it’s fleeting, it’s as permanent as your last breath. The expression of myself is not bound by any particular religion, caste or ideology. As my name also indicates, all my personal, social, and spiritual enterprise revolves around the one great Truth. I forever renew myself, and I try to teach through my actions. I strive to live up to the motto that my life is my message.

One individual who has influenced me to the extent of making a lasting impression on my self is Mahtama Gandhi. I learnt from him to yearn for simplicity when abundance is what everyone desires, and forbearance when odds are stacked up against you. Gandhiji’s most vital message that remains with me always is to practise what you preach. In that sense, I always try to mould my life into whatever message I have to deliver to the people: I first try to live out that message myself so that people should not only hear that message but also witness it in practice.
