Sit in padmasana or sukhasana(any comfortable meditation asana), and adopt any mudra.
Keep your spine straight and take a few deep breathes to make your mind focused and relaxed, bring focus inwards on your breathing. Perform 5 rounds of normal breathing.
Plug the ears with the thumbs and relax the entire face. Keep the remaining fingers on the forehead.
Bring the awareness to the center of the head, where Ajna chakra is located, and keep the body still.
Take a slow and deep breathe in, and then exhale through your nose keeping your mouth closed.
While exhaling, make a humming sound(makara "M")like a bee. The humming sound should be smooth, even andcontinuous for the duration of the exhalation.
While doing this practice, focus on your breathings and feel the positive vibrations inwards.
Continue the same process for few more times according to your capacity and comfort.
Maintain silence for few minutes and observe the benefits of bhramari.

Proceed carefully and only under expert guidance. At the slightest sign of discomfort, reduce the duration of inhalation/ exhalation/retention and, if necessary, discontinue the practice.
