Description
Kristen's chronic back pain led her to yoga in 2008. Yoga started to relieve muscle tension and postural issues linked to her Scoliosis but quickly began to shift her simple approach to living. After practicing Ashtanga Yoga for several years and fully experiencing its undeniable benefits, she decided to complete her 200hr teacher training at Health Yoga Life in Boston, MA.
Since becoming a 200hr-RYT, Kristen has continued her studies and received her certification in Yoga For Scoliosis & Back Care under Elise Browning Miller's guidance. She has also become a Certified Holistic Nutritionist through AFPA and is currently enrolled in her 500-hr training through Yoga Medicine.
Kristen's ever-growing passion for bringing relief to her students has led her to create Be Well & Rise, a space for people to learn the tools they need to take their health & well-being back into their own hands.
