Description
In the early 1980s, Kathleen developed an interest in breathwork as a dynamic tool for healing and transformation. She trained in various breathwork methods that encouraged hyperventilation and strong emotional catharsis.
Over time, she found herself being drawn to a subtler approach to the breath, inspired by her studies in bioenergy with Mietek and Margaret Wirkus. Stepping away from systems that placed control upon the breath, she has developed a more yin approach to breathwork that has its roots in the Eastern systems of breath meditation.
