Jovan Nikolic is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance. For more than 15 years, Jovan has dedicated his life to the practice and teaching of Ashtanga Yoga. Jovan Nikolic is the founder of AV108 Yoga School, and is currently working on a new yoga adjustment book.
Jovan settled in India for 10 consecutive years studying with Ajay Kumar (Mysore), Kamal Singh (Rishikesh) and Vijay Amar (Dharamsala) to name a few. During this time he studied and practiced Buddhist philosophy and meditation, developing a profound understanding for the spiritual dimensions of yoga.
As his interest in bodywork and energy healing has developed, so too has his interest in the therapeutic forms of yoga. With a background in Reiki and Shiatsu, Jovan fell in love with Ashtanga Yoga and was able to integrate these two elements.
Jovan’s way of teaching is known to be energetic, motivating, challenging and insightful. He teaches his students with great sensitivity and his adjustments are gentle and precise, safely exploring the depths of each asana.
