Rishikul Ayurshala

At Rishikul Ayurshala, it is our effort to bring to the world the goodness and wellness of Ayurveda, which after all these years of study and research, is still a path less travelled for most in the world.

Rishikul Ayurshala is an initiative of Rishikul Yogshala which has been spreading the wisdom and joy of yoga and meditation across the world since its inception in 2010. After establishing itself in the field of yoga and being rewarded by a Yoga Alliance certification, Rishikul Yogshala now aims at instituting Rishikul Ayurshala with the core vision of dedicating itself to the teachings and practices of Ayurveda and to show the world that this form of alternative medicine and holistic healing is as important to the world as is yoga.

Ayurveda is a Sanskrit word, which when dissected means “the science of life” (the Sanskrit root Ayur means “longevity” or “life” and Veda means “science”). While some specialists claim that Ayurveda originated in prehistoric times, other academics are of the belief that Ayurveda existed from the time of the Indus Valley Civilization or even before.

We, at Rishikul Ayurshala, promise to unveil this prehistoric study and its benefits to the common man and woman and show the world that even though western medicine can cure plenty of medical problems, a healthy and balanced lifestyle lived on the basics of Ayurveda can eradicate the chances of any such ailments and present us with a happy, healthy, and worry-free life.
