Goa University

Goa University has currently (2014-19) been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) of India with A Grade. NAAC is an autonomous body established by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India to assess and accredit higher education institutions.
QS University rankings - a World University rankings agency - has ranked Goa University in the range of 61-65 among Indian Universities for the year 2020. Among the QS World University Rankings for 'BRICS countries 2019', Goa University is a group of 241-250 universities. There are about 9000 universities in BRICS countries.
The News magazines in India conduct such ranking exercises every year. India Today ranked at 20th level among the State-funded Universities in India (in 2019) and among the overall universities, 'The Week' ranked us at 40 (in 2021).
