A Brooklyn native, I began exploring yoga over ten years ago, expanding on my love of movement, music and theatre. Yoga found me at a particularly vulnerable time in my life, as I was grieving the loss of my mother, a beloved pet, and a miscarriage. From my first class, I was hooked. I felt like I was really back in my body again. Yoga taught me how to embody difficult feelings, to allow them to move through–and out of–the body and out of my life.
