Description
The philosophical root that inspired the creation of AtmaStudio in 2005 refers to the different currents that, originating from the Vedas, are included under the broad umbrella of Yoga, with an emphasis on the non-dual tantra vision of Shaivism of Kasmir that he took form in northern India around the 6th century AD and reached its peak between the 9th and 12th centuries. The essential premise of non-dual tantra is that every aspect of the universe, and therefore also of the world we live in (including ourselves), is the manifestation of a principle defined as Divine Consciousness, whose nature is both transcendent and immanent. The transcendent aspect, represented by a male divinity, is called Shiva and described precisely as pure consciousness: it is the Light of Awareness that makes every manifestation possible, the quintessence of all that is and is not. The immanent aspect, represented by a female deity, is called Shakti and represents the creative energy that shapes everything.
