Description
Bill experienced his first yoga class in 1984 and was immediately taken by the physical challenge and wellbeing but especially the mental focus and deep relaxation aspects. Shortly after this initial introduction to yoga he took a break from college studies in anthropology (still on that break!) and began an immersion of practicing and studying yoga and meditation. For the next several years Bill would practice asana and asana flow, pranayama (yogic breathing) and meditation often eight or more hours daily.
He began teaching in 1988 after receiving his certification from TriYoga. As Bill began to teach outside of the yoga studio, he quickly realized that a branded style of yoga with set sequencing was very limiting when addressing the individual needs of students and began developing a more creative individualized style of teaching. With over 40 ,000 sessions later in a wide variety of settings, he has been teaching yoga ever since.
