I started my journey about 35 years ago in college. This was the late seventies, so yoga was only considered a great practice by the hippies! I enjoyed the class, but it was primarily a physical yoga class, and I didn't do another yoga class until the '90s. This yoga class got my attention! This yoga class had the physical practice, but the hook for me was the breathing practice!!!! Like a lot of working mothers, I was felt like I was missing something. This was the beginning of learning about all the methodologies available. I chose Kripalu yoga because this is the class that had brought me back to yoga and because their methodology was each person can pursue their practice just for their body, not perfection, not just certain poses but whatever works for their body!
So after practicing for a few years, I wanted to become a yoga teacher.
