Hi there! I want to share a little bit more about me with you. The more I can get a sense of someone, the more it helps my decision-making process when choosing who I want to invite into my life, as a teacher, mentor, therapist, doctor, etc. I thought it only fair to offer that same courtesy and vulnerability to you.
In the photos below, you will travel in time and place with me, from Jamaica to Hawaii, to Greece, to Nashville, to Seattle. You will also see one of my favorite and most vulnerable photos, the one of me with no hair. This particular photo is from the hair shaving party I had as I started chemo in 2018; thankfully, it is a memory now, and I have the gift of health. Still, this particular photo is near and dear to my heart, as it reminds me of what I can do, the power of friendship, love, and community, and that sometimes we find our bright inner light in the most unexpected of places.
