Gail Maheshwari’s journey began in the health & fitness business as a certified fitness instructor and personal trainer. Over the years, she discovered yoga and realized the excellent benefits of the practice. There’s a serene feeling of peace and calm that envelops as you quietly move your way around your yoga mat that is almost unexplained. Connecting to your breath and body in unison allows the mind to stay in the present moment. In being present, we can tune into our experience by witnessing both body and mind events. The present is where true peace of mind and heart can be found.
As a yoga practitioner and teacher for over 19 years, her practice and teaching have evolved from alignment-based vinyasa flows into therapeutic yoga programs. Yoga therapy is yoga without all the bells and whistles. You don’t need to do gymnastics or sweat in a room with temps rising to 105. You don’t have to be strong, or thin, flexible, or athletic.
