Description
As approaches to health continue to evolve, yoga’s impact continues to reach far beyond the studio. As a proven vehicle for wellness, healing, and transformation, yoga is now being incorporated into settings such as hospitals, schools and universities, and drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers. For more than 20 years, Integrative Yoga Therapy (IYT) has been bringing together yoga’s most powerful tools—asana, pranayama, mudra, yoga nidra, mantra, and meditation—to create an effective package that can be utilized for therapeutic classes directed toward specific groups and for one-on-one sessions.
IYT provides students with the necessary skills to bring yoga therapy into mainstream life in ways that are inspiring, enjoyable, safe, and accessible. This training consists of eight modules, each offering a rich assessment of tools and techniques that can facilitate balance at the physical, energetic, psych emotional, intuitive, and spiritual levels.
