Maharishi Yoga Peeth

Welcome to Maharishi Yoga Peeth! We are a new school based in Rishikesh offering Yoga Alliance teacher training courses and Yoga retreats for a national and international audience.

Founder Sidharth Sankar Arukha was raised by very spiritual parents. His own mother introduced him first to Yoga, followed by practicing various forms of Yoga since 2008. Soon he was clear about his wish to pass on his knowledge about Yoga to other people. After completing his Hatha teacher training in 2010 and Ashtanga teacher training in 2012, he started to manage and teach Yoga at Shiva Yoga Peeth. With the years he developed his own ideas about teaching programmes which led to the formation of his own school Maharishi Yoga Peeth in 2020. Together with experienced Yoga teachers he is determined to share the teachings of Yoga with you and the world, promoting physical and mental well-being for everyone!
