Description
I began dabbling in yoga in 2005 purely for the physical benefits to complement a fairly intense training schedule for cycling and triathlons. After competing in long distance track and cross country in college, it took a few years for me to understand the different pace and philosophy of yoga (it’s not about winning or being the best?). Through taking a variety of classes, reading and researching to improve my practice I soon fell in love with it. Wanting to share the benefits of yoga with others, I became certified to teach in 2009. Surprisingly, once I began teaching yoga my own practice took on new meaning and seemed to develop to a whole new level.
