Since a very early age, Manohar Ji lived and studied in the Gurukul (traditional boarding schools for Vedic teaching) of Parmartha Niketan Ashram, in Rishikesh (India). He was raised by revered saints and gurus who trained him in yoga and music. He is driven by the passion to make Ekattva the best yoga teacher training school in India, so as to introduce future teachers to the traditional values of yoga practice. Under the tutelage of Swami Chidanand Saraswati, his guru, Manohar Ji feels blessed to have received the ancient wisdom that is in the very mountains surrounding Swargashram (“heaven of ashrams“) and the waters of Ganga itself. He honors his duty to spread the knowledge he has received through spreading the knowledge and practice of Yoga.
