Inspired Living

I ran off to the Virgin Islands after I graduated college in Connecticut. It was one of the greatest transforming adventures of my life. I fell in love with the people and culture of the island and eventually through my yoga journey on the island, I learned how to love myself. Like most adventures, there were a lot of twists and turns along the way - it was a tumultuous journey filled with suffering, destruction, and many hard lessons learned. I am not sure where I would be right now if a friend hadn’t dragged me out of a very dark place one morning and forced me to my first yoga class. My life at the time felt so broken, fragmented, and disconnected. That first yoga class exposed me to another way of feeling connected and whole. Yoga reminded me of who I truly was underneath the layers, walls, and distractions I had created to protect myself. This is why I share the ancient traditions and teachings of yoga with others.
